Article: Pioneering Solutions For The Critical Communications Industry At CCW 2019
Sinclair Technologies participated in Critical Communications World 2019 between June 18-20 at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur. CCW has always been an important event for Sinclair as it is one of the world’s largest trade shows focusing on mission critical communications, bringing together users in both private and public sector, the latest technology services, regulators and many more, to give them unparalleled access to authoritative content and unrivalled networking opportunities.
CCW is driven by TCCA – the industry itself, hence Critical Communications World has the sector’s interest and needs at its very core. The Sinclair team got an opportunity to network with organizations from around the world, bringing together all those with an interest in wireless communications for mission critical or business critical environments. Besides showcasing products and next-gen technology, there were discussions on developing competitive markets worldwide through the use of common standards and harmonized spectrum.
The panel discussion at the conference focused on streams like Emergency Services Network, engagement between Public safety and commercial operators, Standardization and the critical communications roadmap: what will 5G bring and how will the transition happen, FirstNet, pioneering equipment etc. Another interesting series that excited professionals involved in public safety and critical communications was the Masterclass program. Key speakers gave an insight into critical broadband, security solutions, innovation across transport and utilities and mission critical applications.
Sinclair’s newly launched products like the RADIANT ™ Series of panel antennas received a lot of attention at the booth. This series provides outstanding electrical performance with flexible configurations, such as various beamwidth options, PIP, null fill, etc., for different application scenarios. Visitors liked the ruggedness of the RADIANT SP32 and SP42 models as the hardened fiberglass radome provides optimal protection against the outdoor environment. These panel antennas are ideal for multi-radio system and data consuming applications, truly fulfilling the reliability and durability requirements in the public safety, telecommunications and utility markets. Sinclair gave booth visitors a sneak peak of our new Auto-tune combiner, which attracted the attention from OEMs and their partners. Many were excited for the official launch and were impressed with its brilliant design that facilitated fully autonomous frequency tuning. A few end customers enquired about our SI300 In-building DAS antenna and liked the fact that it was low-profile, PIM certified, ground plane independent, and compliant with the most stringent in-building fire regulations including EF142 plenum rated cable, LSZH and a fire-retardant UL94-V0 radome. CCW 2019 truly was an interesting event for all critical communications professionals, which brought together the whole industry together under one roof to drive innovation and knowledge exchange.
