Article: Sinclair Demonstrates It’s Public Safety Expertise At APCO 2019

Sinclair Technologies participated in the APCO International’s 85^th Annual Conference and Expo 2019 Conference and tradeshow in the Baltimore Convention Center between August 12-13, 2019. The team joined leading experts, professional speakers and colleagues representing public-safety communications agencies. APCO International is the world’s oldest and largest organization of public safety communications professionals and supports the largest U.S. membership base of any public safety association. It serves the needs of public safety communications practitioners worldwide – and the welfare of the general public as a whole – by providing complete expertise, professional development, technical assistance, advocacy and outreach.

The Sinclair Technologies team met with important customers, distributors and partners who supply, install and operate emergency communications systems globally, discussing product needs, new technology and challenges. Sinclair aims to provide telecommunicators with the best possible antenna and RF signal conditioning equipment, to provide quick and effective response to disasters. APCO 2019 truly was one of the most important public safety events of the year.

At the trade show, we displayed the RADIANT™ and AURORA™ series antennas for public safety, the newly launched IntelliTUNE™ series of auto-tunable combiners and SI300 In-building antennas. By showcasing the new SI300 In-building antenna in the New Product Zone, customers had a chance to get an up-close and personal look at the antenna. Booth visitors were impressed with the construction, aesthetic and unobtrusive design and low-PIM rating of the SI300 in-building antenna and there is a definite interest in DAS antennas and in-building solutions. Sinclair received good feedback on RADIANT™ panel antennas for its cosmetic appeal with shorter and lighter designs. Visitors were pleased to see that Sinclair developed new products to fulfill their different needs on public safety communications solutions. The 700-800 MHz, VHF, UHF antennas, filters, and RF signal conditioning products also received significant attention at the show. Various visitors request new mix of antennas under single radome, stealth wave applications, and YA custom systems. Overall, we witnessed excellent traffic during the trade show.

Sinclair Technologies will continue to work hand-in-hand with the public safety industry, ensuring continuity of service by communication centers even in the midst of any major disaster.
